What do wasps have to do with space travel?

A lot.

At least, we think so. Particularly when it comes to what future astronauts will drink while traveling across our universe.

We’re leveraging our proprietary yeast discovery pipeline—which harnesses a 100 million-year-old relationship between insects and wild, flavorful yeasts—to deliver new fermented beverages to meet the unique needs of the space industry.

Unlike our commercialized yeast portfolio of products to date—those currently helping brewers make better beer, cider, and sake on Earth—this area of research is newer, younger, and just a bit more out of this world.
